Social Actions

Inbound

SocialOS can track, analyse, and mediate social actions across a wide
range of platforms.

It can import, track, and foward actions including:

  • Comments and replies
  • Likes, upvotes, and downvotes
  • Shares and reposts
  • Following, muting, and blocking

Content actions are reflected via the Feed APIs and selectively applied
to downstream views, statistics, and applications. Content actions are
applied directly and in real time to each part's Kred scores.

User and community actions are reflected in the Relationship Database,
and so in any application connected to the database, including the
Reward Center and Contact Manager.

Outbound

SocialOS applications can request the API to automatically push social
actions upstream. A comment on a piece of content or one user following
another can be local to a specific application, shared with other SocialOS
applications, or shared via third-party platforms such as Twitter and
Facebook according to the needs of the application and its users.

Once configured, the routing of outbound actions is fully automated.
